As of January 1, 2016, most Twin Cities businesses are required to recycle by law. Commercial building owners that contract for four cubic yards or more per week of solid waste collection must implement recycling of at least three types of materials, such as paper, glass, plastic, metal, and organics. Washington County offers FREE recycling technical assistance and grant funding for bins and other equipment through their BizRecycling ® program. Click here for more information.
