The City of Newport does not have one single contracted hauler for trash / recyclables.  All rubbish haulers serving the City of Newport are also required to offer recycling services. Residents have the choice of utilizing any of the following rubbish/recycling haulers. DISPOSAL SITES

Resource Recovery Technologies

For a fee, Resource Recovery Technologies, located at 100 Red Rock Road, collects appliances, computers, electronics, tires and other waste. For more information, please contact them at (651) 768-6670. Your rubbish hauler may also offer curbside pickup options for these items.

Washington County Environmental Center

Hazardous materials, electronics, and recyclables may be disposed of at Washington County's Environmental Center. The Center is located at 4039 Cottage Grove Drive, Woodbury and is open on Tuesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Proof of residency is required. Wheels for Wishes

Wheels for Wishes is a local non-profit organization that helps grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. At no cost, Wheels for Wishes will pick up used vehicles recycle or auction them to benefit the Make-a-Wish program for Minnesota. Click here for more information on the organization.
