The City of Newport contracts with MSA Professional Services for engineering services.

Engineering services provide city staff, Council, and advisory boards with information and guidance on issues pertaining to the design, site development, construction, inspection of city streets, pathways, and sanitary / storm sewer drainage systems and also monitors the wetland impact of construction projects.

Engineering services also includes special assessments, traffic operations, grading permits, city maps and studies with other agencies.
