The City’s Community Garden is located at the north east corner of 4th Avenue and 15th Street. There are 16 garden plots that can be rented. The 10' x 13' plots are $20 each and the 5' x 10' plots are $10 each. Each plot also requires a $20 deposit.

There is also a giving garden with the produce being donated to the Friends in Need Food Shelf.  Volunteers are needed for the Newport Giving Garden. Volunteers don’t need to be an experienced gardener, amateurs and newbies are welcome. Additionally, work times are flexible (day, early evening, weekends) and don’t require an on-going commitment.
